Ahmad Mallah is a Palestinian artist born and raised in Syria, based in Amsterdam. He holds a BA in Fine Arts from St. Joost Academy in Breda. His multidisciplinary practice explores war, diaspora, identity, gender, and the body through painting, performance, and installation. Mallah’s work has been shown among others at the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Unfair, No Limits Art Castle and Madé van Krimpen. His recent duo performance work with partner Rebecca Lillich//Krüger integrates performance, video and song, with deeply personal and political narratives.
