Cecilie Fang is an anti-disciplinary artist and writer from China and Denmark, based in The Hague. She graduated from her BA photography at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Generated through writing, her process-oriented work unfolds across performances, publications and installations. Her practice is a continuous auto-ethnographic research, working through and with language. Raised between Mandarin, English, and Danish, she meditates on translation, language access, and how words are charged with history. Her work has been shown among others at ACEC, Apeldoorn, Kunstpodium T, Tilburg and ACENTRICSPACE, Zhujiajiao, Shanghai.
